The Stone Estate cottages are located in the picturesque village of Alstonefield and in the surrounding hills, they are perfect if you are looking for a little hide-away for two or a getaway with friends or family… and your pooch can come too!
Alstonefield is nestled high above the Dovedale valley that winds its way through a landscape defined by miles of dry stone walls. Just step out of the door and you can immerse yourself in an area full of ancient woodlands and massive rolling hills, carved with deep river gorges. Stumble across historic villages and hamlets where time stands still and the only traffic-jam you’ll experience is a slow tractor or a flock of sheep.

This is a local family business created by Jo and Robert over 20 years with the support of George and Hannah. Jo is the inspiration behind the curated look & feel of the cottages whilst Robert is responsible for the running of the estate. They are supported by George and Hannah who are responsible for the beautiful imagery, design and marketing.

Alstonefield Manor is set within its own walled grounds in the picturesque village of Alstonefield. The house is available for the exclusive hire of six guests. Additionally, by hiring the one or both of the cottages in the grounds, we can accommodate up to 10 guests.
